This solar installation is for an AC coupled system, meaning microinverters are installed on the roof to convert the DC power to AC power. This system includes 20 monocrystalline panels, to create an 8.5 kW system. Safety is a top priority for our crew, the installation began with installing safety equipment. Safety harnesses are worn by all members of our crew. The use of roof jacks allowed installation on a steep roof such as this one to be completed. The AP microinverters are equipped with monitoring capabilities through the AP app. Once the utility company installs a bidirectional meter, the extra energy produced by the system will be able to be sold back to the utility company.
